Hue was the Vietnamese capital during the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945 & ruins of the city’s regal past can still be seen inside the Citadel. This private tour will take you to see the Imperial City, which was modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing & holds numerous palaces & temples inside its gigantic walls.
Spend some time wandering through the citadel before taking a short journey to the countryside to see the final resting place of the Emperors at the Royal Tombs, which are surrounded by lush gardens & lakes.
The tombs feature a temple for worshipping the King & his queen, a stele made of stone carved with details of his life & the tomb itself, which is situated at the most elevated point of the complex.
Then, take a boat trip along the Perfume River & enjoy the breathtaking scenery before heading back to the drop off point.
