Hoi An has a great, chilled out bar scene that’s primarily based around the old town. Unlike a lot of South East Asian destinations, Hoi An’s nightlife is more mellow than manic but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t come with a lively atmosphere. While almost every restaurant and café can double as a drinking spot, there are a few that are a cut above the rest.
1. Fusion Cafe
Don’t let the word cafe fool you, because this place has a vibrant evening atmosphere you're sure to enjoy. The Fusion Cafe offers great deals on cocktails, regularly hosts live music & has an unbeatable view of the river. www.facebook.com/FusionLoungeExpressSpa/
2. Q Bar
Located on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Q Bar is certainly worth a visit. Not only does it have a modern & hip decor, it also provides some of the best cocktails & drinks in the old town. http://www.foody.vn/quang-nam/q-bar-nguyen-thai-hoc
3. Dive Bar
A few doors down from Q Bar, you’ll find the Dive Bar, the headquarters of one of Hoi An’s best diving companies, Cham Island Diving. The bar has a friendly, traveller orientated atmosphere, complete with a great selection of music & equally great staff. www.facebook.com/pages/Dive-Bar-Hoi-An/571918439566763
Other Bars To Check Out
Just outside of the old town, you’ll find the 3 Dragons Sports Bar & Paddy’s Irish Bar, which are great for catching up on the latest sports & having a relaxed drink. If the beach is more your kind of place, head to An Bang Beach & enjoy the spectacular ocean view of Soul Kitchen or La Plage.
